2024 CCRC Contested Race Endorsements
The Crawford County Republican Committee held a Candidate Forum on July 16th at the Beaver Creek
Township Hall. The purpose of the forum was to allow citizens to hear from Republican candidates in
contested primary races for state and local offices.
All Republican candidates were invited to attend, and many did including Sheriff Ryan Swope who is
running unopposed in the August primary.
On the evening of July 17th, the CCRC held its regularly scheduled meeting, and in accordance with the
CCRC Bylaws, the Committee voted to endorse the following candidates in the August primary.
- Dr. Sherry O’Donnell for U.S. Senate
- Josh Saul for Congress in the MI 1st District
- Christian Marcus for
State Representative in the MI House District 105
- Dorothy Frederick for District 2 County Commissioner

- Sandy Beaudet for Beaver Creek Township
